The chocolate shop. In France some specialist shops make their own chocolates on the premises.

The bakery. The baker's shop is where you'll go to buy baguettes and croissants.

The cake shop. In one of these shops you'll buy little pastries stuffed with fruit and jelly as well as cakes and cream buns.

The grocery. This shop sells fresh fruit and vegetables. They also often sell all sorts of goods, like an English corner shop.
